WestFax Brewing Company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic full time Taproom Manager to join our team.

WestFax Brewing Company is an award winning local craft brewery located on West Colfax in Lakewood and on the West Side of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are a small but rapidly growing neighborhood brewery that focuses on serving beer to our customers through our inviting taprooms and wholesale sales channels. We were founded in 2016 and have recently expanded to Colorado Springs, CO. We have seen double digit growth in each proceeding year and want to continue our momentum through hiring an enthusiastic and qualified taproom manager.

Position Details:
Location - Colorado Springs, CO
Full Time, Salary - Exempt
Primary Responsibilities:
Management of taproom staff including the hiring, training and performance of staff
Management and creation of taproom shift schedules
Food Truck scheduling and coordination
Event planning for our weekly, monthly, and annual events
Work taproom shifts and execute all taproom server responsibilities and meet all server qualifications and cover other taproom shifts when needed. Bartending shifts is part of the job.
Take ownership in all aspects of the WestFax Springs Taproom which includes its cleanliness, organization, scheduling, events, POS management, and cash management
Expected to work during peak business hours throughout the week
Assist in Social Media Marketing for the brewery
Manage taproom supplies
Clean and maintain draft system
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Must be 21 years of age
At least 3 years of management experience within the service and hospitality industry
A good leader with the ability to lead a team of taproom employees
Available to be on call during non working hours
Organized self starter with ability to follow through on all assigned tasks
Cicerone beer server certification is desired but not required
Passionate about the craft beer industry
Willingness to continue to learn about our brewery, process, products, and strategies for building a better taproom
Able to stand for an entire shift
Able to shift, move, or slide full kegs if needed.
Multitasking skills
Proficient math skills
Computer skills – familiar with Google Workspace, and Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. Able to learn how to manage the backend of our POS platform
Honest and reliable
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Willing to kindly enforce tap room policies and hold your team accountable
Positive attitude
Ability to attend events and festivals to represent WestFax outside of the facility when needed
Able to represent the company professionally at all times during events where drinking is happening
Ability to see opportunities for improvement and willingness to implement improvements
Must be team oriented
Compensation:
This position is Salary/Exempt: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
