On March 8th and 9th we celebrated “3 Years of Liberating Beer”! We had record days on both Friday and Saturday (THANK YOU)!!! In case you missed this event, here’s a recap of the happenings for both days.
Barrel Aged Friday 3/8/19
This year’s Friday celebrations included a barrel aged theme. We released 3 barrel aged beers including a new Laws Rye Whiskey aged imperial stout named Rye Are You Judging Me? This stout was also released in limited bombers. We also re-tapped our Laws Bourbon Barrel stout Silently Judging and our Bourbon Barrel aged Belgian Quad, Concussion Protocol. During the event we had ax throwing by Jack’s Ax Throwing Truck, and Stupid Awesome Sandwiches food truck. It was a record Friday for our local brewery (woohoo) which teed up an even bigger record day for Saturday…
Saturday 3/9/19: 4 Beer Releases, Live Music
Saturday we opened early at 11am with our W3 Bruit IPA collaboration between us, Westbound & Down, and Woods Boss Brewing. This beer was available on draught and in 16oz cans sold in 4-packs. We also had 150 custom anniversary glasses drawn by Andrea Slusarski of Drawing from Nature, depicting West Colfax/Denver/and the Front Range. We had timed beer releases including a double hazy IPA release named Sippin’ on a Cloud on draught and in limited 16oz 4-packs with original artwork by Noelle Phares. We also opened up the back of the brewery for overflow space and feature a “Concert in the Kettles” with live music by both The Kinky Fingers and Larry Nix. Saturday, we poured over 1,200 beers and had a record day across the board!
We want to thank our friends, families, and community for coming out and showing us your support/celebrating with us. Cheers to many more years of Liberating Beer together!
